Chris Roakes has worked as a public educator in a variety of capacities for almost 30 years. He holds a B.A. from James Madison University and an M.S. from Radford University. Chris’s commitment to Tudor House’s mission of suicide education, prevention and support is a deeply personal one. Chris has lost friends, family, and students to suicide; if Tudor House’s work helps to save one life, he’ll consider his efforts a success. Chris enjoys hiking, cycling, and kayaking on those rare occasions when he has free time.
